Emmy® award winning director Michael Jorgensen of Myth Merchant Films required branding and promotional items for his new full length documentary movie, Unclaimed. Deliverables included: wordmark logo, branding, art direction for photoshoot, movie poster, invitations, social media startup, promotional postcard, promotional advice and support, graphics support for team, press kit preparation and website front end design. Web development was provided by Alchemy Imageworks.

The Helping Coupon in a new venture that harnesses deal of a day buying to benefit charity. Deliverables included: company name development, industry research document, design storyboards, wordmark logo, branding, stationery package, business cards, social media startup and website front end design.

Branding • Cotton Mill Lofts • Client

Cotton Mill Lofts was originally a working cotton mill in the 1890's. The building was revitalized into modern condo's by developer RMP Construction Ltd. Deliverables for this client included: letterhead, business cards, brochure, rack cards, invitations, newspaper ads, magazine ads, indoor and outdoor signage, website and book.

The Aleet Energy website is a direct buy solution for oil and gas equipment (similar to auto trader). This project was a collaborative venture with developer Michelle Poulin. I was responsible for the front end website design and Michelle was responsible for the coding and custom php which supports the site.

Website Re-Design • Sunshine Promotions • Client

Sunshine Promotions required a new website that was more “user friendly” and would “drive new customers to their business”. This re-design was a collaborative venture with Michelle Poulin who is developing the custom products page and partial CMS, while I redesigned the visual front end of the site.

Valley Cinderella Project is a charity which collects dresses and bridal gowns for those less fortunate. Client requested a "cheery, pretty, pink themed" website and asked that it feature her favorite flower - cherry blossoms! Duties included: SEO/SEM, copywriting, website design and development.

CANEX is an agency of the Department of Defence that supplies retail goods to CF Bases across Canada. As the Advertising Sales Promotion Coordinator for the area I was responsible for creating, budgeting, scheduling and executing advertising plans, graphics projects and special events at fifteen stores at nine bases across western Canada.

Brochure • Fountain Tire • for CANEX

This brochure featured a joint program between CANEX Retail Store at CFB Edmonton and local Fountain Tire Stores. This project included hiring a photographer and art directing the photoshoot to obtain key imagery.

Fashion Spread • Denim Talks for SUSSEX Clothing • Independent Project

Setup for this project included hiring a photographer, model, stylist, makeup artist and hairdresser…and then finding the perfect location!

The Alberta Sheriff's are a division of Alberta Justice and Solicitor General. Change of Command ceremony programs are a popular keepsake.

Illustration was created using Adobe Illustrator - long before iPhone templates were freely available for download from the internet ;) The project took 43.5 hours to complete and there are 43 layers!

I've worked as a designer across Canada and the USA,
in various industries such as fashion, construction and with the military.

I am an Honours graduate of the Graphic Communications program
at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (Edmonton).

I also hold a Bachelor of Applied Arts Fashion
from Ryerson Polytechnic University (Toronto).

I expect to graduate from NAIT's Digital Media and IT program in April 2013.
